François de Laval, Lord of Beaupré (full-day)

You wish to discover everything about Québec’s history?  Spend a day in Old Québec and on the province’s oldest road by following a historical figure, François de Laval, first bishop of Québec, who developed the colony by his social, economic and religious foundations. The tour begins in Old Québec as he saw it: walking tour of two hours when you’ll visit Notre-Dame-des-VictoiresNotre-Dame de Québec and the Seminary.  After a two-hour lunch-break, it’s on the bus where our guide will have you discover the beauties of the Beaupré Coast as few have seen it before. A  quick  stop at the Montmorency  waterfall, then discover the typical Canadian architecture, old mills, and road chapels of Québec’s little villages! Included are the tours of the grand Nativité de Notre-Dame church – one of the most beautiful decors of sculpted wood – and the Petit-Pré Mill. The tour ends at the majestic Sanctuary Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré.  Gift shop, toilets and outside touring! (Add 2$ per person if Funicular is needed.)

8 hours (two hours for lunch), 15 people minimum required, bus not provided
